Big Ideas for Social Influence Marketing

Here's the presentation that I gave at our 9th Annual Client Summit. This was presented to 600 odd senior marketers from industry leading companies. My key messages were that in the social realm one big idea is not enough, you need many little ideas that work in harmony with each other. I also pushed for the reorganization of the marketing department, a focus on what I referred to as Social CRM and the necessity in innovating with others. Take a look at the presentation and let me know your thoughts.

Great presentation! You've done a great job adding some clarity to a topic that is defiantly confusing many folks out there. Many thanks!

I like the part on "customers creating customers". It's simply viral marketing.
Nice presentation overall.

Thank you for the comments. I'm glad you liked the presentation. The topic is indeed confusing especially with the digital space changing so much.

Great presentation, I'm very interested in browsing through your previous posts as well, especially re: understanding passion in every day life and in business. I've been thinking that in certain enterprises we're seeing the end of marketing, except for highly focused public campaigns. The rest of the enterprise is this amalgam of marketing, sales, customer service merged into the customer relationship. First up are B2Bs, especially technology, finance and life sciences. frequent touch consumer brands like cable, phone, grocery are first B2Cs. Interested to read your posts in this direction in the future.
